At the March board meeting the board reminded everyone that the first step to resolving a minor issue is usually just talking to your neighbor as opposed to quickly elevating something to the board level.

- Certified Quorum
- Called to Order at 6:30 p.m.
- Approval of Previous Minutes: Approved
- Financials
- Report: Expenses and Balances. Lake and Wetland Management will invoice the 1st Monday of the month. March will be the first payment. Dan likes the new technicians. Discussion about using a smaller boat/alternative method to service the ponds instead of backing a trailer into the ponds. The annual report is paid up. Bug Out service is paid every other month. JEA is paid via online bill-pay. Dan will deposit new initiation fees.
- Old Business
- Pool: Dan and Sallie, work to start on March 3rd. Work has started. 60% payment is due two weeks into the work, and then the remaining 10% is due at the end. Dan, Sallie, and Laurie picked out the new tile colors. (Cobalt blue). The work should hopefully be completed by April 1. Discussion of postponing ASP until pool work is done and then having ASP service the pool several times in the first few weeks after completion.
- Yard of the Month: Should not be awarded in the months of Dec. Jan and Feb.
- Homeowners meeting: location, date, letters. Tracy to check on Redeemer as a possible location for meeting. Annual meeting to be held May 10. Letters will be sent out by March 15. Dan and Sallie will work on them.
- Sign on Goodnow: as needed
- Helping neighbors: encouraged homeowner to reach out on their own, not through the board
- New Business
- Updating pool furniture as finances allow. Discussion about pressure washing the pool deck and possibly painting it.
- Fence on Goodnow Rd. The iron fence has come away from the fence post. Dan said a tree root is causing the separation. Possible solutions discussed. Sallie and Mark to investigate further.
- Landscaping entrances by the signs. Neighbor wants to see some pretty flowering plants. Is there anyone that wants to take on gardening at the entrances??
- Miscellaneous and Lot Concerns
- Violations. Another letter to homeowner. Sallie to follow up and send.
